grand-openingI’d like to announce the grand opening of my sister site, bestsensualtoys.com! Yay! (Cheer and applause)

As a sexual empowerment coach, I’m a huge advocate of embracing your sexuality. Adult toys and products are a wonderful way to learn about your body, experiment, and achieve an orgasm!

Many women have achieved their first orgasms with the use of vibrators. They come in different sizes and shapes and for a first you may try one which is slim or petite. With a slim vibrator, you can add sleeves to vary the sensation. Always use toy cleaners with your products for optimal health.

Many women don’t lubricate naturally. Hormones or age can be a cause, but with lubricants you don’t have to worry if your body doesn’t create natural moisture.

Adult toys and products enhance a relationship. I’ve heard from women that they worry a vibrator will desensitize them. This is not true. The use of a vibrator will not make it more difficult for you to achieve an orgasm. Read this article on vibrator myth busters.

Toys are there when your lover isn’t and they make your sex life more fun. Toys and products are regularly added to Best Sensual Toys so make sure to check back regularly. I’m also including a fun Sex Story section. If you have a funny, embarrassing, romantic, or memorable sex story, please share here!

It’s wonderful to be a sexual woman–to be sexually empowered. But, with that comes silly, silly men.

I came across a blog from a woman who writes erotica. In one of her posts, she mentions that writing about sex doesn’t mean she wants to have sex with every man!

I got a kick out of it because I understand what she means. I get interesting looks from men after they learn I’m the Spiritual Sexpert. They say, “Oooh…Spiritual Sexpert. What does that mean?”

Depending on my mood, I might retort back, “I write about sexual empowerment for women. I write for women.” They usually get the hint.

Recently I received an email from a guy asking “Are those are the only two massages you do?”

What? What massages? I did write about the lingam massage, but you can clearly read I was writing about a tantric technique for women to try on their lovers. No where in that post did I say I’m taking personal clients.

The only other massage I could think of that he might have been referring to is reiki healing, which isn’t even a massage! It’s energy healing that balances the mind, body, and spirit.

If he was referring to Reiki, this isn’t the first time. I once received an email from a man asking about my “Reiki Massages.” This man said, ”How much do you charge for your massages? This is the first time I’ve tried this kind of thing. I don’t want my wife to find out.”

Poor wife! Not only is her husband a jerk, he’s a bozo!

Men come across a sexual woman and all logic goes out the window! Even the shyest men will instantly grow some balls and make crude or sexual innuendos. More often, men feel they get a free pass and want to talk only about sex. Talking about sex is completely fine, but they usually become horny with intentions to sleep with the woman.

It almost seems that the more sexual a woman is, the more pushy a man becomes. With varying degrees of sexuality, all women should experience the same level of respect and treatment.

I’m reminded of an episode of Secret Diary of a Call Girl where Belle was assaulted by a client. It’s as if he justified his actions based upon her profession.

Men aren’t the only ones confused about sexual women. Women themselves are often perplexed. For instance, many hide their sexual feelings because good girls aren’t sexual. In my short story, Sex Chronicles of Caroline Rose, Caroline is conflicted with feelings of lust and beliefs that it’s wrong to express her sexuality. Writing about her life and how she overcomes these beliefs is a way for me to show women that it’s perfectly natural and normal to embrace your sexuality.

Caroline eventually lets loose and fantasizes about her gorgeous boss and a love interest sparks at work. But just as real life brings you hurt, sadness, and happiness, Caroline experiences the same. Women who have read her story tell me of the encouragement they have felt. I’ve only written Part 1 in the series and I’m already getting demands for the second!

Often some women feel negatively towards a sexual woman. She’s referred to as a “slut” or “whore” if she’s had multiple partners. Instead of uniting, women turn against each other.

With all the predictions surrounding 2012, one of them is my favorite. Many believe the energy will shift creating a balance of male and female energy. In other words, women will regain their power lost. Then maybe, a sexual woman will become more commonplace.

What does an orgasm feel like?

I was recently asked that question by a woman in her mid twenties. I was close to reenacting the scene when Mandy Moore describes the feeling of an orgasm to her mother played by Diane Keaton in the movie, Because I Said So. Then I realize it wasn’t a joke and this girl was serious. Then I was almost stumped. What does an orgasm feel like? It’s almost like describing the color blue or a tickle.

It feels blissful.

It’s a full-body wave of pleasure.

Still it wasn’t a satisfying answer.

Then just to be sure, I asked her if she’s ever experienced one. Turns out she hadn’t and she’s also never masturbated.

After an interesting conversation on Sex Education 101, I realized she’s not so unique. I’m sure millions of women are in the same boat. For whatever reason, they don’t masturbate and a high majority probably don’t experience orgasms. Well, let’s change that! If you’re a woman who doesn’t masturbate, make that your nightly assignment!

Female Masturbation Tips

  1. First tip: Get over your hangups! Okay, this may take a bit longer than one night, but it certainly is a necessary step. Masturbation is natural. Look at the way babies automatically touch their genitals. Remind yourself you’re a beautiful sexual woman. Repeat mantras until you believe them.
  2. Close the doors and get in a comfortable place free of distractions. Begin by touching your clitoris in a circular motion or forward and back. Focus on the feelings you’re generating and enjoy them. Let loose.
  3. Fantasize about something that turns you on whether it’s a boyfriend, hot celebrity, a woman, or anybody you want. The best thing is these fantasies are in your mind only. Nobody has to know what goes on.
  4. Use lubrication if you’re not becoming naturally moist. A water based lubrication is great because it’s easy to remove, it won’t stain the sheets, and all you need is a spritz of water to moisten it if it becomes dry.
  5. Use two hands to increase sensation. Use one or two fingers inside while your other hand focuses on the clitoris.
  6. Use a vibrator. I believe every woman needs a vibrator! They come in various sizes and shapes. Get one that doesn’t intimidate you. Or buy a bullet vibrator. They’re usually shaped like eggs and are perfect when focusing on the clitoris.
  7. Make it a magnificent orgasm by combining a bullet vibrator with the traditional kind. While the traditional vibrator is inside you, use the bullet on your clitoris.
  8. An orgasm won’t come if your mind isn’t there. If you’re feeling guilty or ashamed, chances are you won’t orgasm. That’s why the first step is so important. Once you’re comfortable and accepting of the fact that masturbation is normal and healthy, everything else will come.

Tantra Course and Secrets

Centuries ago spirituality and sexuality was inseparable. Sexual union was believed to connect a person to the divine. Tantric techniques teach us to experience elightenment and blissfullness during sexual intercourse. It’s possible to feel transcendence even without practicing tantra with a partner. It takes meditation, learning to feel and manipulate energy that builds from the root and sacral chakras.

One tantric technique to superconscious sex is to bring up the sexual energy from the root chakra to the third eye. This area is connected to the pituitary gland in the center of the brain. When this area becomes open, visions, altered states, and the sexual-spiritual experience occurs.

Sexual Empowerment

for women

Many women today aren’t sexually empowered. In fact, they may not know what it means to be empowered. They don’t see their bodies as beautiful and divine. Many may not experience orgasms and forgo their happiness and pleasure for their mate’s. Their partner is sexually pleased, while the woman is yearning for more.

The good news ladies, is it can be better! Empowerment in all areas of your life is important so you can enjoy a completely fulfilled life. Sexuality begins in the root and sacral chakras. If these are not balanced, it affects the other areas of your life.

Here are a few questions to think about about your level of sexual empowerment.

  1. Do you love your body?
  2. Do you feel your body is beautiful?
  3. Are you comfortable with self pleasure?
  4. Do you know how to bring yourself to achieve an orgasm?
  5. Do you think sex or self pleasure is sinful?
  6. Do you feel confident in different areas of your life including:career, love, intuition, spiritual connection, or manifesting your life?
  7. Do you find it hard to keep your emotions balanced or are you often jealous?

Self Empowerment

Those questions were designed for self reflection. Thoughout your entire life, you absorbed ideas and beliefs from others including your parents. Your parents may have stressed that sex or self pleasure is sinful. You carried these beliefs with you throughout your life. Some women rebel and have casual sex with various partners without really experiencing a fulfilling sexual-spiritual experience. I’m not saying casual encounters are negative. You must decide what is right for you. Other women have sex, but never allow themselves to enjoy it. They marry and still never experience an orgasm. These ideas sprout from limiting beliefs.

How to Overcome Limiting Beliefs

All of these beliefs, ideas, and situations you’ve encountered have added up and created who you are. Once you realize the root issues, you’re able to Theta Healing is one alternative for healing limiting beliefs. Affirmations and mantras are useful tools as well. In my Goddess Workshops we work towards eliminating beliefs and bringing out creative expression. To bring the sacral chakra to balance, use your creativity. Remember, a lot of the sexual issues begin here.
